Challenge
The single-family house, built in 1970, was completely renovated down to its foundations. The aim of the renovation was to improve energy efficiency and adapt it to modern standards, with additional features such as a swimming pool and security system.

Solution
The planned renovation of the roof also involved the installation of a solar system with a total output of 26 kWp. The Loxone Energy Manager uses the energy produced to provide hot water, heating, control the pool and the excess energy is used to charge the electric vehicle. In order to ensure uniform operation and visualization for the customer, the lighting, blinds, heating, alarm system and garden irrigation were integrated into the Loxone.
Thanks to the energy flow monitor, you always have an overview of the energy flows in the building.
Loxone's charging solution has the great advantage that the excess energy can flow into the electric vehicle to ensure optimal coverage of self-consumption.
